The goal of the Byron Community Education Gymnastics program is to offer a fun, safe and physically active outlet for kids. Kids will work on flexibility, strength and gymnastics skills along with social skills. This is the first level in our recreational program. If your child is new to gymnastics, this class is right for them! Children must be 5 years and older to attend this class. They will learn basic gymnastics, strength skills, stretches and terms in this class. Gymnasts will participate in the class independently. This class is designed for boys and girls. Attire: No clothing with buttons, snaps or zippers are allowed as these items can damage the equipment and a safety hazard. Leotards/singlets are encouraged, but shorts and t-shirts are allowed, and all long hair needs to be pulled back or put in a ponytail.
