Black and Orange BashCelebrate fall with us at this fun, family-friendly event! Come dressed in your Halloween costume (if you’d like) and enjoy games hosted by the Byron Chamber of Commerce, a festive photo booth, and a Trick-or-Treat Lane filled with fun trinkets and candy. Stop by anytime between 6:00–7:15 p.m. to join the fun! Advance registration is required—one registration per child. There will be no in-person registration at the event to help keep things moving smoothly. Thank you for your understanding! For families with children from birth through 2nd grade (older siblings welcome, must be registered)

Upon arrival, stop by the registration table to pick up your plate before enjoying breakfast. ⏰ Event Details: Time: 8:00 AM – 11:45 AM Location: Community Education Center: 630 1st Ave NW, Byron, MN Breakfast is served during your selected time slot to ensure a smooth flow of guests, plenty of seating, and minimal wait times. 💡 Note:You are welcome to enjoy all activities at any time during the event. However, to help us maintain a smooth experience for everyone, we kindly ask that you eat during your registered time slot—either before or after participating in the activities. Activities will end at 11:45am. 📸 Special Guest:A very special visitor from the North Pole will be stopping by for photos—don’t forget to bring your camera! 🥫 Support the Community: A table will be set up for the Byron Food Pantry to collect donations. While donations are appreciated, they are not required for entry.

Cub Club is a 3-week ECFE class for families with children ages 2 years old – preschool to learn and grow together. Each session blends play-based exploration, simple routines, and hands-on activities that support early development. Children build independence through play, while parents and caregivers connect, share ideas, and gain practical tools—all in a welcoming, relaxed environment.

Join First Friends, a warm, hands-on gathering for parents and little ones to play, learn, and grow side-by-side! This class invites parents and babies/toddlers to engage in a variety of playful, floor-based activities that nurture early development and strengthen bonds. Each week includes a cozy story time, interactive music and movement sessions with fun finger plays and sing-along, and musical instruments just for little hands. As children engage in exploration play, parents have a space to share thoughts or ask questions on the parenting journey. Every session also includes a helpful handout packed with tips and ideas to keep the fun and learning going at home.

Join us for Fun With ECFE -Grandparents & Me Spend special time together at our Grandparents & Me class! This class is designed for grandparents and their grandchildren to learn, play, and make memories together. Enjoy fun activities, songs, stories, and hands-on experiences that celebrate the unique bond between generations. It’s a wonderful way to connect, share, and create lasting moments with your little one!

Join us for Little Cubs Library, a mixed-age class where families with young children explore the joy of reading together. Each session features a themed children’s book, along with playful activities, games, and hands-on experiences that bring the story to life. Families will receive a free copy of the featured book—yours to keep and enjoy at home—thanks to support from the SMIF Early Literacy Grant. It's a fun, interactive way to build early literacy skills and create lasting reading routines.

Messy Art: This hands-on class gives young children the chance to explore art through a variety of materials and techniques. Each session offers a different project focused on creativity, sensory experiences, and process over product. It’s a relaxed, child-led environment where making a mess is part of the fun. Please dress for mess! STEAM: Get ready for hands-on fun as we dive into the world of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math—designed just for little learners! Each class is filled with playful experiments, creative building, messy art, and curious questions to spark imagination and discovery. Perfect for ages 1–5, this class builds early skills through exploration, movement, and wonder!

Building on the idea of “It takes a village” and the truth that children don’t come with a manual, let’s meet once a month to explore a variety of parenting topics, create simple activities to use at home, and support one another along the way. This is an adult-only class, giving you a chance to enjoy meaningful conversation, connect with other caregivers, and take a break—no kids needed. Ann will provide the chocolates and hot beverages!
