When: Every Wednesday, 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM Format: Drop-in / Open rotation Skill Level: All levels welcome (Beginner to Advanced) What to Bring: A paddle, court shoes, and water. (Paddles available to borrow if needed!) How It Works: Just show up and jump into the rotation! We encourage players to mix and match partners and opponents after every game. Play Smart, Play Long: Pickleball Injury Prevention for Active Older AdultsPickleballPickleball is one of the fastest-growing sports for active older adults. However, the quick lateral movements, sudden stops, and overhead shots can take a toll on joints and increase fall risk if your body isn’t prepared. Led by a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy, this hands-on workshop covers the most common pickleball injuries and how to prevent them, safe falling techniques, a proper warm-up and cool-down routine, and targeted strength exercises for your hips, knees, and shoulders.Instructor: Dr. Jenna Ugorowski Dr. Jenna Ugorowski believes that staying active safely is the key to a lifetime of movement, confidence, and independence. She is passionate about helping people enjoy the sports and activities they love while protecting their joints, muscles, ligaments, and tendons. Holding a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the Mayo Clinic (2015) alongside years of experience leading group fitness, Jenna brings a sharp clinical eye to injury prevention. Her class focuses on movement patterns, targeted strength work, and fall-prevention strategies designed to keep pickleball players and everyday movers off the sidelines and in the game. She guides participants through proper form, safe falling techniques, and practical home exercises to protect hips, knees, and shoulders. Rise and Rally Morning PickleballPickleballRise & Rally: Morning Pickleball Start your day with a perfect serve! Join us for Morning Open Pickleball from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM, Monday through Friday. Whether you're a seasoned pro or just starting out, our vibrant pickleball community is the ideal place to hone your skills, meet new friends, and have a blast.We have 3 indoor courts available to play on. Bring your own paddle and pickleballs. Many of the participants use Spond to help coordinate who is showing up each day. If you are interested, please look at the Bulletin Board outside of the gym for more information. You can pick how much pickleball you would like to participate in by purchasing punches! Log in at the kiosk outside of the gym each day you play. Please note, that punches will expire on June 30, 2027. Punch cards are nonrefundable and can only be used by the player they are assigned to. Please bring a clean pair of athletic shoes to wear in the gym.You should look at the dates of class as there are a few mornings that this is no pickleball due to holidays or previously scheduled events.Fall 2026
