Play Smart, Play Long: Pickleball Injury Prevention for Active Older Adults
Pickleball is one of the fastest-growing sports for active older adults. However, the quick lateral movements, sudden stops, and overhead shots can take a toll on joints and increase fall risk if your body isn’t prepared. Led by a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy, this hands-on workshop covers the most common pickleball injuries and how to prevent them, safe falling techniques, a proper warm-up and cool-down routine, and targeted strength exercises for your hips, knees, and shoulders.
