Head Volleyball Coach, Byron High School

Coach Holly brings a lifelong passion for the game, a rich athletic background, and over a decade of professional teaching experience to our volleyball camps and classes. As the Head Coach for Byron Volleyball, her mission is to foster a high-energy, positive, and growth-minded environment where players of all skill levels can thrive.

Coaching & Athletic Background

• Byron Volleyball Head Coach: Leads the Volleyball program; coaching since 2019.
• Collegiate Competitor: Played club volleyball at the University of Wisconsin-Madison while earning her undergraduate degree.
• Multi-Sport Roots: Raised as a versatile multi-sport athlete in Northeast Wisconsin, competing in volleyball, basketball, and softball.

Educational Expertise & Philosophy

Holly’s coaching is deeply informed by her professional background in education. After serving as a graduate teaching assistant at UW-La Crosse, she relocated to Minnesota in 2014 to begin her teaching career. She currently serves the district as the Developmental Adapted Physical Education (DAPE) and Unified PE Teacher at Byron High School.

Her unique expertise in adapted physical education means she excels at breaking down mechanics, tailoring feedback to individual learning styles, and ensuring that every athlete feels confident, included, and challenged.
